This was an exciting project with a very short deadline - 4 days - but we worked our magic and made it happen.

A students digs is the home away from home and a start of a new chapter. With this in mind we wanted to decorate the space to match the students personality but also ensure that the room was functional to serve it's purpose. 

All the major pieces were selected in a neutral white so that they age well and therefore be used in the years to come. A comfortable bed and sufficient space to study was at the top of the priority list so that is where we started with this design.

The student's bubbly personality dictated the rest of the decor from the bohemian styled round throw to the dreamcatchers on the wall. In the end it is always the smaller, more personal items which brings a room together to truly make it the home away from home.

This was a decorating project in which the clients wanted a completely new look and feel for their home. We used most of the existing furniture and either reupholstered or repainted and manufactured new furniture where necessary. 

The main living area was kept neutral with blue fabrics to add some colour and pattern. The patio furniture was designed to be low so not to spoil the view.

The twin girls bedrooms got make-overs as well. Here we painted the existing furniture, added some custom wallpaper and other accessories. The girls also required a play room/study area so we created a fun space using chalk paint on the feature wall and used doors as desk tops.

This Ballito beach house had many components. We did everything from the living area to the nursery.

The living area was to feel open and relaxed. We used furniture manufactured from old ship wrecks and used a lot of natural Kiaat, keeping the space feeling natural and open. The fabrics were kept mostly light with a beach house palette.

The master bedroom was decorated with bold wallpaper and fabrics to create a bit more of a luxurious atmosphere.

Existing furniture was repainted for the baby's bedroom and with the use of wallpaper and a vinyl sticker a little boy's room was created which can be used from baby to toddler. 

This man cave was created for a clients husband as a birthday gift. We furnished the room with a comfortable corner sofa and all the necessary amenities and luxuries - TV; coffee machine; snacks - keeping the room masculine and neutral.
